Veterinary Volunteer Programme

RESQ Veterinary Volunteering Programme

[Replace: this whole page is a scaffold. Real copy for the Veterinary track - About the Programme, Who It's For, Environment, Scope, Duration, Vaccination requirements - is pending and will replace the placeholder sections below. The eligibility rules already shown are pulled from the confirmed apply-vet form logic, not placeholders.]

About the Programme

[Replace: programme overview for veterinary volunteers/interns - what makes this track distinct from Husbandry/Rehab, and what hands-on veterinary exposure looks like at RESQ.]

Who This Programme Is For

This track is specifically for Qualified Veterinarians / Veterinary Professionals, and current Veterinary Students in their 4th year, 5th year, Masters, or who have completed their degree.

[Replace: further description of who this track suits - e.g. prior exposure expected, areas of veterinary interest RESQ can support.]

Eligibility

  • Qualified Veterinarian, or
  • Veterinary Student - 4th year, 5th year, Masters, or Completed only

Applicants under 20 receive a non-blocking warning during application, at RESQ's discretion - this does not automatically disqualify an application.

Duration and Commitment

  • Minimum commitment: 2 weeks. There is no 1-week option for this track.

[Replace: daily schedule, accommodation details, and any other commitment specifics for the veterinary track, if different from Husbandry/Rehab.]

The Environment

[Replace: description of the veterinary/clinical environment - likely shared with the Husbandry/Rehab copy on the physical centre location, but may differ in clinical specifics.]

Vaccination and Health Requirements

[Replace: confirm whether vaccination requirements differ from the Husbandry/Rehab track - the apply-vet form currently reuses the same Anti-Rabies / Tetanus fields.]

How to Apply

  1. Submit the Veterinary Volunteer Application Form
  2. Internal screening and interview with the RESQ team
  3. Confirmation of duration, scope, and reporting structure
  4. Issuance of participation confirmation
