Corporate Volunteering

A working engagement, not a visit.

Your team spends the day doing work that RESQ needs done, agreed with you in advance.

Group volunteering is available to corporate organisations. If you represent an NGO, a government department, or an academic institution, the route that will serve you is an Insight Visit →.

A corporate volunteering team working together outdoors on enclosure enrichment

Enclosure preparation. Enrichment design and construction. Feed preparation. Materials sorting, facility work, and whatever else the week has produced.

This is work adjacent to animals, and never work with them. Nobody will handle, approach, feed or photograph an animal. Please read the CAMP Code of Conduct → and circulate it to your team before you arrive. It is not a formality, and it is the reason we are able to have you over at all.

Who this is for

Partner organisations running employee engagement programmes, including those with commitments under an existing agreement with RESQ. Organisations arriving with contributions in kind, drawn from our published wishlist.

Contributions

If your team would like to bring materials, please select them from the RESQ wishlist.

Capacity

Groups of 20–25, phased across the day so that only a manageable number of people are in any one area at a time.

Photography

Our team photographs the day and shares the images with you afterwards. Photography, videography and recording by your team is not permitted on site — animals, staff, facilities and operations.

How this works

One request, on behalf of the group

What we need from your coordinator
  • Identification and address proof from the person making the request, to verify identity before granting site access.
  • A signed waiver and indemnity.
  • An attendee manifest.
1

4

On the day

No individual forms. There is no application form for individual team members, no interview, and no certificate. Your coordinator submits one request on behalf of the group and takes responsibility for all.
